The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) has scheduled an open court session on 1 December 2014, at 16.30, to deliver its judgement on the appeal against Trial Chamber I’s verdict and sentencing decision in the case of The Prosecutor v Thomas Dyilo Lubanga. Thomas Dyilo Lubanga was convicted on 14 March 2012 for committing as co-perpetrator, war crimes consisting of enlisting and conscripting children under the age of 15 years. Lubanga was sentenced to 14 years imprisonment on the 10th of July 2012. He is currently detained at the ICC Detention Centre in The Hague.
