Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo to be sentenced by the International Criminal Court on 21 June 2016

On 10th June 2016, The International Criminal Court- trial chamber III announced that it will deliver a sentence in the case ‘The Prosecutor v. Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo’ on Tuesday 21 June 2016 at 13:45 (The Hague local time) during a public hearing at the seat of the Court in The Hague, Netherlands. The sentencing will be transmitted live through the ICC website
On 21 March 2016 Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo was found guilty of two counts of crimes against humanity (murder and rape) and three counts of war crimes (murder, rape and pillaging) committed in the Central African Republic (CAR).
