Incorporating the Innovations of the Extraordinary African Chambers into International Criminal Justice

 

Africa Legal Aid (AFLA) in cooperation with the Permanent Representation to the ICC and OPCW of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, will convene a Symposium on Incorporating the Innovations of the Extraordinary African Chambers into International Criminal Justice. The meeting will be held in The Hague on 11th May and will serve as a prelude to AFLA's upcoming Seminar in Addis Ababa, to coincide with the 29th Summit of the African Union.

The Symposium in The Hague will be attended by the international justice community and diplomatic spheres, and will be chaired by H.EJudge Sanji Monageng of the Appeals Division of the International Criminal Court. Click here for the program.

At the close of the Symposium, the Africa Legal Aid Quarterly will be re-launched by H.E. Paul Wilke of the Permanent Representation to the ICC and OPCW of the Netherlands, with a special edition entitled: Carrying Forward the Innovations of the Extraordinary African Chambers for the Prosecution of Habré.
