Bosco Ntaganda’s trial continues

The trial of Bosco Ntaganda continued before Trial Chamber IV, from 13-16 June, with the testimony of the 25th Prosecution witness. Ntaganda is the former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Forces Patriotiques pour la Libération du Congo [Patriotic Forces for the Liberation of Congo] (FPLC).
His trial was opened on 2 September 2015, and Ntaganda is accused of 13 counts of war crimes and 5 crimes against humanity. The crimes were allegedly committed in Ituri, DRC, in 2002-2003. Trial Chamber VI is composed of Judge Robert Fremr, Presiding Judge, Judge Kuniko Ozaki, and Judge Chang-ho Chung.
