AFLA seeks to demystify the law and human rights by bringing it closer to the people.

AFLA's Gender Agenda will raise awareness on economic violence, psychological violence, media violence and other crimes perpertuated against more than 50% of a population, not in times of conflict, but during peace time.

Increasing Accessibility of African Civil Society to the International Criminal Court (ICC), is crucial, both for the effectiveness and legitimacy of the ICC.

AFLA is strenghtening the operations and introduces the newly established War Crimes Division (WCD) of the High Court of Uganda to Human Rights and Justice Sectors in Africa.

AFLA is intensifying its South/North Dialogues in The Hague, the International Legal Capital with Quarterly Dialogues on emerging and unsettling issues in International and Gender Justice.
